Empowered By The Holy Spirit
The book of Acts begins with Jesus’ final instructions to His disciples before ascending into heaven. In Acts 1:8, He promises that the Holy Spirit will come upon them, giving them power to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. This moment marks the beginning of the Church and the fulfillment of God’s plan to spread the Gospel beyond Jerusalem.
